Combat stress
Well over 10% of the UK prison population have served in the armed forces. Many of them suffering with PTSD and/or substance problems also finding it incredibly difficult to adjust to civilian life.
15 Nov 2016Instead of constantly referring to “our heroes” and looking for any photo opportunity with a tank - perhaps politicians should instead be putting forward many more resources to help these people.
With soldiers now surviving the most dreadful battlefield wounds, both physical and mental, caring for them on their return is more important than ever. Combat Stress is one organisation trying hard to help these people.
