HR17, the 25th Harm Reduction International Conference, will take place in Montreal, Canada on 14th-17th May 2017.

14 May 2017 to 17 May 2017 |

As hosts of what will be the biggest global harm reduction event of the year, Harm Reduction International and Canadian partner AIDQ look forward to welcoming up to 1000 delegates from around the world for what promises to be another high profile, high impact conference

In the context of a country moving towards a more forward-looking approach to drugs, but a region and a planet where progress is still painfully slow, we want HR17 to be the place where the people at the heart of the response come together to build a movement that learns, shares and cooperates to build a world where people benefit from good drug policies, rooted in dignity, health and human rights.

People who use drugs, sex workers, people living with HIV; researchers, campaigners, activists; health professionals, development specialists, human rights experts: all of these and many others are invited to participate in our four-day programme of presentations, workshops, exhibitions, film screenings, networking events and local site visits.

Between now and the conference, this website will be regularly updated to include everything you need to know about the conference.
