Next events of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs
The preparations for the UN General Assembly Special Session on Drugs (UNGASS) are already in progress starting with a mid-term review of the implementation of the 2009 Political Declaration which was held in March 2014, resulting in the adoption of a Joint Ministerial Statement by member states.
13 Mar 2014 to 1 Jul 2016 | ViennaDuring the 57th Session of the Commission on Narcotic Drugs held the following week, the Commission adopted an UNGASS resolution, which sets the stage for how UNGASS preparations will be conducted over the next two years.
