This annual conference offers a two day educational program of speakers and a half day of workshops. The aim of the conference is to broaden the understanding of the range of addictions, comorbidity, pain management, harm reduction, mental health and wellbeing and to look at solutions in regard to prevention, treatment and recovery through evidence based research, programs and practical models. The conference is inclusive of varying populations, the professional, peer support workers and the role of the family.

13 May 2019 to 15 May 2019 | Sea World Resort Conference Centre, Gold Coast, Australia

The 2019 program will incorporate nine keynote speakers, over 50 concurrent presenters and six engaging workshops, giving delegates an opportunity to collaborate, earn professional development points, network and learn from like minded professionals. This conference promotes and encourages participation from all parts of the sector towards a shared appreciation and learning of what medical, psychosocial and peer based approaches offer, through the experiences of service users, clinicians and researchers.

The Australian & New Zealand Addiction Conference is an initiative of the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association Inc, a non-government, not for profit organisation.
