This conference will focus on drug policy research pertaining to drug markets, the harms caused by both the supply of and demand for drugs, and the intended and unintended consequences of policy.

21 May 2014 to 23 May 2014 | Rome, Italy

The eighth annual conference of the International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP) will be held in Rome, Italy, from Wednesday 21st to Friday 23rd of May 2014 at the venue CNR (National Research Council). Last year we were in Colombia, South America, which provided an opportunity for many of us to learn more about producer countries. In 2014 we will be Europe, where state-of-the-art monitoring and epidemiology, along with innovative treatment, law enforcement and prevention approaches are all on display.

The event is being organized by the Centre for Biostatistics and Bioinformatics of the University of Tor Vergata and the Italian Social Science Council.

The conference should be of interest to policy makers, practitioners and academics from a wide array of disciplines who are engaged in drug policy research pertaining to drug markets, the harms caused by both the supply of and demand for drugs, and the intended and unintended consequences of policy.
